# Codex Cleanup by VI-IT

Codex Cleanup by VI-IT is a free, closed-source, portable Windows x64 utility published by VI-IT. It scans local Codex development projects for rebuildable output, old test runs, caches, superseded builds, downloadable dependencies, AI model files and diagnostics.

The user reviews every candidate. Green means rebuildable or clearly superseded and is preselected. Yellow may require a new download and is not preselected. Red may affect custom data and is not preselected. A second confirmation is required before deletion.

No project contents or scan results are uploaded. The app only requests public GitHub release metadata at startup for update notifications.
